A few years ago, we had a client referred to us from Flagstaff Arizona. Our client wanted a custom square log mountain home that would reflect their needs for a mountain vacation home. Their particular property is situated in the gated golf community of Flagstaff Ranch.
Our clients enjoyed the appearance of stone facing and square face logs for the exterior materials. So the right mix of the materials combination was important. We develop a custom home design based upon their personal needs for their vacation home.
Preliminary Concept Design For Our Custom Square Log Mountain Home in Flagstaff Ranch
This project was built by DDBuild and the custom home design was designed for the property address of 4680 Braided Rein, Flagstaff Arizona.
A Few Design Details Of Our Custom Square Log Mountain Home
The combined floor space of this custom mountain home design is 3331 square feet.
Three auxiliary bedrooms and full baths and a very large game room were created for the first floor. With plenty of room for the kids to spread out in. Additionally, a see thru glass wine cellar is located underneath the stairway. A very large two-car garage and shop space was also develop.
On the upper second floor, a dining room was created right next to the large chef’s kitchen. This custom home design has also the master bedroom suite and the large second floor great room on this floor level.
From the second floor exterior space, great forest, lake views can be had from the very large wrap-around deck. Additionally, thru the pine trees, one can view one of the fairways of the Flagstaff Ranch private golf course. A outdoor fireplace can be enjoyed on the rear side of the large deck.
