So every detail for this custom home was developed to meet their needs. All of which was designed by Myles Nelson McKenzie Design in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Our clients on Saint Helena Island, have a beautiful coastal property that backs up against a lowcountry marshland. This quaint and quiet island of Saint Helena has a variety of lowcountry homes that represents the the lowcountry lifestyle. The residential community of Dataw is also located in this coastal region of South Carolina.
Since the property is located in a designated flood zone, the new custom home was designed with the beautiful coastal marshland views and the flood zone in mind. The type of building materials and the construction method were all considered and develop to accommodate these conditions. The property has beautiful ancient oak trees, southern pine and palmetto trees that frames in the beautiful property.
