A new Lowcountry patio home for our clients in Hilton Head, South Carolina, was designed by Myles Nelson McKenzie Design in Bluffton, South Carolina.
Concept Design Plans
This custom home design has four bedrooms and four baths, a media room, a great room with views of the marshland, and a large chef-style kitchen. The residence is located on a small island against the marshland in the community of Moss Creek.
The size of the new custom home is 2700 ft.². It has a large front porch and a large open deck for the family to enjoy the marshland views. There will be a fire pit sitting area on the rear marshland grade level. The clients will be able to enjoy the beautiful evening views of the marshland.
Because of the Lowcountry flood requirements, the residence is raised up off of the great natural grade, as illustrated by the front exterior rendering. This allows for storm weather floods to pass through the area without loss of residence.
